An Old Dollhouse
Hubby made this dollhouse for the girls when they were little. It went to the church when we moved to Virginia. It was forgotten by everybody but me. Left in the basement. So when a failed attempt to build her Majesty a dollhouse for her first birthday happened... I asked for my old dollhouse back. I painted the roof spring green and the house itself petal pink. I love it. She loves it. She sits inside and plays. It's that big. Fun is the reason to live...

Old Mirror Made New
Remember that old brown mirror? I washed over it with gesso and adorned it with a few plastic gems from a bracelet I bought on clearance at Rue and an old cameo. Reminds me of something from a classic movie. Definitely love the new look.

in the time it took Tiegan to take a nap-
thanks to Pinterst tutorials...
Still a little heavy handed on the outlines, and hands and feet are so hard to master, but I kind of like this. How often do I say that about my own work?
Mixed Media- Prisma Color Watercolor Pencils, Caran Dache Neocolors 2, Reeves Watercolor Paints, stamp ink for background effect, and Petra Art Markers for outline. Shellacked with Mod Podge Sealer. Did you know that Daler Rowney makes triple primer canvas? Oh my GOSH I will never have to buy Gesso again!

Changing Table
Have not posted for a little while. A lot has happened. This old dresser,
which I paid very little for,
is now my grand baby's changing table. I made the banner,
and I found the changing pad for a little bit of nothing.
I love easy makes. They put a smile on my face.
